Polyurethane modified silicone oil HY-8427

Overview:

This product is a specially modified polyether-modified silicone, which is a modified silicone oil with 100% content of hydroxyl functional groups. The hydroxyl groups at both ends can react with urethane prepolymers, so it is designed as a modifier for urethane resins to improve the smoothness and anti-adhesion properties of resins.

Appearance: light yellow transparent liquid

Active substance content: 100%

Refractive index (25 degrees): 1.425-1.430

Viscosity (25 degrees): 150-350cs

Product features:

1. Excellent anti-adhesion and peeling aid effect.

 2. Reduce surface tension, improve the wettability of release paper and substrate, improve the leveling of resin and anti-shrinkage hole and pinhole performance.

      3. Increase softness, provide smooth surface and smooth hand feeling for PU synthetic leather.

      4. Improve air permeability and moisture permeability.

      5. Improve abrasion resistance and low-temperature flex resistance.

      6. Compared with other silicone modifiers, HY-8427 has better compatibility with PU resin and polar solvents such as DMF. It is more suitable for use in polyester system, and it can react well with isocyanate to obtain long-lasting modification effect.

Suggested dosage and usage:

HY-8427 is a reactive additive, which can be added in the pre-production of PU resin and react with isocyanate, so as to have a long-lasting modification effect on the performance of PU leather. In addition, HY-8427 can also be added in the latter part of PU resin production or in the former part of PU synthetic leather production, which can also achieve better results.

      It can be added at 0.1%~0.5% of the resin amount or at 1%~5% of the resin amount for resin modification..

Packaging and storage requirements:

25kg iron drum, 200kg iron drum. Sealed storage, storage period of 24 months at room temperature.
