Product Description:
The additive is a wetting additive
specifically designed for waterborne coating systems to achieve the superior
wetting capacity and defoaming efficacy required by the customer. It is
suitable for waterborne polyurethane, waterborne acrylate, and waterborne epoxy
systems. Its unique foam-free and super-wetting properties can be applied to
spray processes, high-speed rolling processes, and difficult-to-wet
surfaces/substrates.

Product characteristics:
When HY-4100 defoaming wetting agent is
applied to water-based coatings, the ideal pH value should be between pH
6.5-8.5. Outside of this range, wettability decreases significantly over time.
When applied to the water-based ink system, it can promote the wetting and
dispersion of pigments and prevent the flocculation of pigments, thereby
improving the storage stability of the formulation, improving gloss and
coloring ability.
Suggested dosage and usage:
It can be added as the original or pre-diluent, and pre-dilution with the recommended solvent simplifies addition and mixing.
Dosage: 0.2-2% based on total recipe
Precautions:
This leveling aid is widely used, but the amount of addition and whether it is stable should be determined by experiments before use. This additive is recommended for use in all water-based coatings and inks.
Storage Packaging:
Packaging: This product is packaged in original 25/200KG barrels (can be split);
Storage: Store in a cool and sheltered place, sealed and stored;
Transportation: This product should be well sealed during transportation to prevent moisture, strong alkalis, acids, and rainwater from entering.
