Solvent-free wetting and dispersing additives for waterborne coating systems for the production of particularly economical resin-free pigment concentrates.

Composition: Modified styrene maleic anhydride copolymer solution

Density (20 °C) : 1.07 g/ml

No volatile matter (10 minutes, 150 °C) : 40%

Acid value: 20 mg KOH/g

Amine value: 20 mg KOH/g

Product Features and Benefits:

 Strongly reduces the viscosity of the abrasive. It prevents the coarseness of pigments by steric hindrance and electrostatic repulsion. Because the pigment is deflocculated, it is possible to increase color intensity, improve transparency or opacity, and achieve high gloss. In addition, the additive is also helpful for leveling. HY-2010 has a relatively hydrophobic structure, which can reduce the influence of additives on the water resistance of dry films.

Suggested Dosage: The amount of additives used (purchased form) is based on the pigment:

Inorganic pigments: 20-30%          Titanium dioxide: 10-12%

Organic pigments: 30-75%             Carbon black: 130-150%

Storage packaging:

Storage: Store in a cool and sheltered place, sealed and stored;

Transportation: This product should be well sealed during transportation to prevent moisture, strong alkalis, acids, and rainwater from entering.
