Special reminder

When using this additive, if recoating is required, the surface must be carefully sanded to ensure adequate interlayer adhesion.

Features and advantages:

HY-394 can be arranged in a directional manner on the surface of the paint film and cross-linked into the polymer network through its reactive groups.

HY-394 is suitable for solventborne systems by primary hydroxyl group and the following binder systems: two-component polyurethane, alkyd/melamine, polyester/melamine, acrylic/melamine, acrylic/epoxy composition. The non-polar group of HY-394 produces an excellent peelable effect on the surface of the paint film. The additive improves leveling and gloss and provides a long-wave effect that avoids cratering. HY-394 has no effect on surface tension and is thermally stable.

Recommended dosage:

0.2-3% additive dosage (purchased form) based on the total formula. The above recommended addition amount is for reference, the best addition amount needs to be determined through a series of tests, adding methods and processing guidance can be added at any stage, including the post-addition.

Packaging, transportation and storage:

   25kg iron drum/plastic drum. This product does not contain solvents and is transported as general non-dangerous goods. Sealed storage, storage period at room temperature for 24 months.
