Overview:
HY-377 is a highly effective silicone surface additive containing hydroxyl functional groups. It is particularly recommended for improving the wettability of polyurethane, epoxy and acrylate systems on substrates. It drastically reduces the surface tension and therefore improves the wettability of the product on demanding substrates. Improved substrate wetting and tape removal performance and leveling in non-aqueous systems, as well as increased surface slip.

Characteristics and uses:
1. Silicone surface additives for solvent-based, solvent-free and water-based systems. Suitable for coatings, inks, UV curing systems, adhesives and room temperature curing plastic systems.
2. The additives can drastically reduce the surface tension of coatings and printing inks, improve substrate wettability, and prevent cratering. At the same time, it improves surface slip and gloss. In aqueous systems, anti-blocking properties can be improved.
Adding method and process:
Can be added at any production stage, including post addition.
Dosage: 0.05-0.3 % Based on the total formulation, aqueous and UV systems can be added up to 1%. The most suitable dosage is determined through a series of tests
Storage & Transportation:
When the temperature is below 5 °C, turbidity and delamination may occur, please heat to 20 °C and mix well before use.
