Overview:
Recommended as a solvent free wetting and dispersing agent for solvent based, solvent free, and water-based paint systems, printing inks, and adhesives, as well as for stabilizing inorganic pigments, especially titanium dioxide powder.

Features and Benefits:
HY-180 deflocculates pigments through steric hindrance stabilization. Due to the small particle size of the deflocculated pigments, it is possible to achieve high gloss and improve color intensity. In addition, the transparency of transparent pigments and the hiding power of opaque pigments are also improved. Due to the reduction in viscosity, the flow properties are improved and the pigment content can be increased.
Recommended Uses:
This additive is recommended for all water-based, solvent-based and solvent-free systems to stabilize inorganic pigments especially titanium dioxide.
Suggested Dosage:
The dosage of additives (purchased form) is based on the specific surface area of the pigment: inorganic pigments: 5-10% titanium dioxide: 1.5-2.5%.
The above recommended dosage is for reference only, and the optimal dosage needs to be determined through a series of tests.
Adding method and processing guidance:
For optimal performance, additives must be added to the abrasive before the pigment is introduced. The resin and solvent components of the abrasive are pre-mixed and then the additives are slowly added with continuous stirring. Do not add pigments when the additives are not completely dispersed.
Packaging and storage requirements:
25kg iron drum, 200kg iron drum. Sealed storage, normal temperature storage period of 24 months.
