Wetting dispersant HY-192

Overview:

HY-192 is free of VOC and solvents and is recommended for use in liquid masterbatches in aqueous coating systems, printing inks and thermoplastics, as well as produce color paste for unsaturated polyester systems or gel coats. Especially suitable for producing stable effect pigment dispersions.

Density (20 °C): 1.05 g/ml

Note:

When the storage and transport temperature is below 20°C, the product may solidify. Heat to at least 30°C and stir before use.

Features and benefits

The additives deflocculate the pigment by stabilizing the steric hindrance. Due to the small particle size of the deflocculated pigments, the color intensity can be increased. In addition, the amount of pigment added can be increased due to the reduced viscosity. The additive prevents floating or blooming in complex pigment/paste combinations as well as in difficult colors. Recommended Uses: It is especially recommended for the production of colorants used in gelcoats; It is also recommended for stabilizing pigments in gelcoats.

Suggested Dosage: Titanium dioxide: 2-5% Organic pigments: 10-15% carbon black: 10-20%

In addition, the transparency of transparent pigments and the hiding power of opaque pigments are also improved. Due to the reduction in viscosity, the flow properties are improved and the amount of pigments added can be increased.

Suggested Dosage: Inorganic pigments: 5-10% Titanium dioxide: 4-7% Organic pigments: 15-30% Carbon black: 30-50% Effect pigments 3-5%.

Packaging, transportation and storage:

25kg iron/plastic drum. Sealed storage, normal temperature storage period of 12 months.
