High efficiency leveling agent HY-3510

Overview:

HY-3510 is a highly effective silicone surface additive. It is especially recommended for use in radiation-curing hood varnishes. It drastically reduces the surface tension and therefore improves the surface wetting of the system on demanding substrates. Improved substrate wetting and tape peeling performance, as well as leveling in non-aqueous systems, and improved surface smoothness

Characteristics:
 Polyether modified polydimethylsiloxane.
Viscosity (°C): 300cs-600cs
Density (20 °C): 1.04g /ml

Non-volatile content: > 97%

Characteristics and uses:

1. HY-3510 is targeted to the coating surface due to its high interfacial activity and is particularly recommended for radiation-curing hood varnishes, providing adequate substrate wetting and leveling at very small doses

2. Good compatibility with conventional resins for use in all non-aqueous and radiation-curing systems.

Adding method and process:

1. It can be added at any stage of production, including post-addition.

2. Amount added: 0.05-0.3% Based on the total formula, water and UV systems can be added up to 1%.
3. The most appropriate amount of addition needs to be determined by a series of tests.

Please note:

When the temperature is below 5 °C, turbidity and delamination may occur, please heat to 20 °C and mix well before use.

Storage packaging:

Packaging: This product is packaged in original 25/200KG barrels (can be split);

Storage: Store in a cool and sheltered place, sealed and stored;

Transportation: This product should be well sealed during transportation to prevent moisture, strong alkalis, acids, and rainwater from entering.
