Organic silicon surface additive HY-331

Overview:

Used for solvent-free and solvent-based industrial coatings, automotive coatings, printing inks, moderate reduction of surface tension and increase of surface slip, good leveling and recoatability. It can be added to isocyanate curing agent.

The additive moderately reduces surface tension while improving slip and improving leveling and gloss. As a silicone additive, it prevents the formation of Benardcell. HY-331 has the properties of improving substrate wetting and anti-adhesion.

Recommended Uses:

HY-331 can be used in all water-based, solvent-based, and solvent-free systems, and is especially recommended for automotive coatings, architectural coatings, wood coatings, and printing inks and paper glazing oils. In two-component polyurethane systems, it can also be added to Curing agent..

Recommended Dosage: 0.025-0.2% Additive dosage (supply form) based on total formulation.
