Silicone surface additives for improved leveling of solvent-based coatings. Slightly reduces surface tension and slightly increases surface slip.
Silicone leveling agent HY-325
Overview:
HY-325 is a silicone surface additive used in solvent-based coatings to improve leveling, slightly reduce surface tension and increase coating slip.
Product features:
1. Slightly reduce surface tension, outstanding leveling performance.
2. It will not stabilize the bubbles, which will help eliminate the bubbles of the product.
3. Increased surface smoothness and improved scratch and wear resistance.
4. Used for systems that require repainting to prevent "ghosting" (scratches) and not affect recoatability
Application fields:
HY-325 leveling agent can prevent the appearance of "ghost marks" (wiping marks) when repeatedly brushing with the same coating. It will not cause poor wetting or affect repainting, and has outstanding compatibility. It is recommended for use in all solvent based coatings, especially in systems that require repainting.
Usage and Dosage:
When the temperature is below 15 ° C (60 ° F), the product may solidify. Before use, heat to<50 ° C (<120 ° F) and mix thoroughly, without affecting the product effect;
Recommended dosage: 0.05-0.5% of the total formula amount.
