HY-420 is recommended for anti-settling of concentrated slurry of water-based pigments, fillers and matting agents. Or to improve the sag resistance and leveling effect of the coating, depending on the specific dosage. When added to the aqueous pigment suspension, the additives can form a three-dimensional network structure. In this way, thixotropic fluidity can be generated to prevent sedimentation and improve sag resistance. Adding abrasives in the pigment dispersion stage can ensure good dispersibility, thus obtaining better construction performance.

Excellent shear thinning properties, anti-settling and anti-sagging properties. Provides excellent anti-settling properties to water-based pigment concentrates at lower viscosities. When used in pigment concentrates, the concentrate is added to the paint without affecting the viscosity of the paint. Liquid additives for ease of use. There is no need to control pH or temperature. It has good versatility and high efficiency in aqueous systems and pigment concentrates.

Usage:

Addition during the grinding stage can achieve better dispersion and effect. It is added to the coating system at medium shear to ensure homogeneous mixing and rapid dispersion, without the need for special temperature and pH control. It can also be added during the paint mixing stage to adjust the viscosity. If the post-addition is not evenly dispersed, the compatibility can be improved by co-solvents.

HY-420 rheology agent contains chloride ions, it is recommended to use plastic or packaging barrels with inner coating to store the finished paint to avoid corrosion; If a metal drum is used, it needs to be tested for corrosiveness. In the dry film, no negative effects on corrosion were found.

Storage and Transportation:
